여름내 열어놓은 뒤란 창문을 닫으려니
열린 창틀에 거미 한 마리 집을 지어 살고 있었습니다
거미에게는 옥수수가 익어가고 호박잎이 무성한
뒤뜰 곁이 명당이었나 봅니다
아직 한낮의 햇살에 더위가 묻어나는 요즘
다른 곳으로 이사하는 일이나, 새 집을 마련하는 일도
사람이나 거미나 힘든 때라는 생각이 들어
거미를 쫓아내고 창문을 닫으려다 그냥 돌아서고 맙니다
가을바람이 불어오면 여름을 보낸 사람의 마음이 깊어지듯
미물에게도 가을은 예감으로 찾아와
저도 맞는 거처를 찾아 돌아갈 것이라 생각했습니다
