당신이 국수를 삶으면*
그 옆에 선 나는
멸치로 국물을 내고
애호박을 씻어 잘게 잘라 볶고
계란을 풀어 고명을 만듭니다
국수가 익어가는 동안
우리 처음 만났을 때의 이야기를 하다가
당신에게 고백했던 순간을 얘기하며
난처하게 웃다가
냄비 가득 삶아지는 국수를 보면서
먹지도 않았는데 배부르다던 당신
국수를 담고
따뜻한 육수를 붓고
잘 볶아낸 호박 나물과 노란 고명을
소복하게 올립니다
