송광사 대웅전 앞에
배롱나무 한 그루
너른하게 꽃피우고 있었다
다붓한 절간
눈맛나는 붉은 꽃숭어리마다
술렁이는 꽃빛발에
대웅전 부처님은 낯꽃 피고
나는 꽃멀미로 어지러웠다
밤그늘이 조계산 기슭을
바름바름 기어내려올 때쯤에야
이곳에서는 배롱나무가 부처였음을
겨우 깨달을 수 있었다
